In recent audits, I’m seeing recurring gaps in instrument processing documentation — missing cycle printouts, unsigned weekly spore test results, and no corrective action notes after a failed spore test. What simple check or tool are you using at the sterilizer to verify logs are complete and traceable before an unannounced OSHA or state board inspection?

Maxillary canine’s still the longest single root — your “26–28 mm” checks out — though CBCT occasionally shows mandibular canines at 29+ in tall patients, @e_chambers17. When I’m assisting on a flap there, I move the vertical release slightly distal to the canine eminence and verify apex trajectory with a quick PA/CBCT to avoid the thin labial plate; curious if palatally displaced canines have thrown off your estimate?
