Best ways to calm anxious kids during dental visits

I’ve been experimenting with different techniques to help calm anxious kids during their appointments. One method that seems to resonate well is using a calming voice and gentle phrases, which I’ve found really helps to soothe their nerves. I’d love to hear what other tools or strategies you all use to make these visits easier for our little patients.

I’ve had success with distraction techniques, like a fun video or music. It really helps them focus on something other than the appointment! Have you tried that?

I get that juggling schedules can feel like a game of Tetris! Have you thought about using scheduling tools like Doodle for team meetings? It can really help narrow down availability without all the back-and-forth.
