Where do our 2x2s go

I tracked usage last week and op 3 alone burned through 1,480 2x2s while hygiene used 260 — unless we’re upholstering chairs, what secret project am I funding here? I’m trying to keep costs in check with a 10-box PAR and labeled drawers, but we still hit zero by Thursday; anyone cracked the code without becoming the gauze police?

I’d try a daily bin per op: 200 2x2s in a clear box, only refill from a central sleeve when it’s empty, and jot the refill time on the lid — after a week you’ll see the spike without issuing gauze citations. If op 3 still “hits zero by Thursday,” swap them to 4x4s for bleed control and reserve 2x2s for wipe‑ups; that work?
